Nirmal is a human rights defender and youth activist with more than 10 years of experience within the government and non-goverment sector. He has experience in human rights, access to justice, migration, youth, foreign employment, sustainable development and peace. He has completed LL.M from Kathmandu School of Law, MA in English from Tribhuvan University and LL.B from Nepal Law Campus. 

Nirmal's work experience includes Deputy Program Director for Pravasi Nepali Coordination Committee (2013-2015). He is also currently President and Co-founder for Nepalese Law Students' Association (NeLSA), President for FNB Nepal and MRC Manager for the Foreign Employment Promotion Board.  

 

Nirmal's organisation, FNB Nepal, was recently a finalist for the Achmed Dean Sesay Memorial Prize for Innovation in the 2017 Grassroots Justice Price Competition.
