Nazmul Ahsan is the Executive Director at Orchita Integrated Development Society and the Chairman of Bangladeshi Ovibashi Adihika Forum. At Orchita Nazmul works with migrant or returnee migrant workers and their families, he also assists in Fact finding on human rights violations particularly on state violence, migrant workers right violation, human trafficking and other issues. One of his sole duties as Executive Director includes conducting training and workshops. Nazmul believes that the DTP program will help him develop his training skills and enhance his theoretical knowledge and experience on the field, which in return will help his trainees. He also believes that the connections made with international networks at the DTP program will help in establishing networking in the regional level.

We recognise their lands were never ceded, and we acknowledge their struggles for recognition and rights and pay our respects to the Elders – past, present – and the youth who are working towards a brighter tomorrow.
